By Marie Alami and Avery Horzewski, Analytics Marketing, SAP

twitter-bird-white-on-blueThe SAP analytics social team is changing the @BusinessObjects twitter handle to @SAPAnalytics in April. Why? Because our conversations cover the full spectrum of analytics topics, from BI, EPM, and GRC to applied analytics, in-memory, cloud, and more.

If you’re already following us, don’t worry, the only thing changing is our name. The conversation will remain the same – and you don’t have to do anything. The change will be automatic. You’ll simply see @SAPanalytics in your tweet stream vs. @BusinessObjects.

But…the BusinessObjects conversation is important to us, so we want to get your take on how you’d like to communicate on topics related to BusinessObjects?

Let Us Know Your Thoughts

  • Ÿ  Use the hashtag #BusinessObjects
  • Ÿ  Use the hashtag #BOBJ
  • Ÿ  Use the hashtag #SAPBI
  • Ÿ  Start a dedicated twitter handle to cover just BI-related topics
  • Ÿ  Do something else?

Tell us your preference using the comment section below or answer this one-question survey by April14.

And in case you didn’t know, we already have several ways to stay connected with the analytics conversation from SAP in addition to @BusinessObjects/@SAPanalytics:

  • @SAPEPM: enterprise performance management topics
  • @SAPGRC: governance, risk, and compliance topics
  • @SAPCommNet: the SAP community network
  • @SAPMentors: SAP’s top experts and community influencers
  • @SAPSupportCE: SAP’s global support customer experience, providing information, insight, and support on analytics and other topics

And watch this blog and the @BusinessObjects tweet stream for more details on the change in the coming weeks.
