Nic :
Other than the Pre-Conference ASUG training “SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.1 with SAP BW and SAP ERP: Everything You Need in One Day”….there don’t appear to be any 4.1 What’s New or Release events on the Schedule for Orlando.
Are there any specific Orlando session that you recommend for folks who want to take part in the 4.1 Ramp-Up…?
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the question, there will be a host of content around BI 4.1 at Sapphire. As we are just entering ramp-up there aren’t any customer sessions specific to BI 4.1 but there is an SAP runs SAP session which will look at details. Check out session 3614. Also, be sure to stop by the BI booth within the Analytics campus area and we can give you a complete update and demo on BI 4.1
I’ve also posted my top picks for sessions

Hope that helps, looking forward to seeing you at the event.

I understand that Desktop Intelligence is back in 4.1.
I do wonder whether they improved the migration tools. In 4.0, there was a one-time migration of reports. Since most installations will run both systems in parallel, the two will become out of sync. Yet, there is not provision to select only the newly created reports on the old 3.1 system and migrate them to 4.1.
