2-17-2014-4-14-23-PM-300x198The momentum around mobile analytics is apparent. Its proven to be a critical element to transform your business and is aligned with the Big Data hype and adoption of mobile in the enterprise. All of us rely on our smartphones in our personal lives, and we expect to do the same at work.

Companies are becoming empowered to provide critical information to the fingertips of every person and adopt a more data-driven and consumer-centric organization. So, it’s not a surprise they’re seeking strategies like mobile analytics to get the value out of Big Data and to leverage more insights across their organization.

In the 2013 Howard Dresner Wisdom of Crowds Study, 90% of participants indicated mobile BI as ‘important’ to their business. And in a recent SAP Newsbyte, Chief Research Officer at Dresner Advisory Services, Howard Dresner said, “Since 2010, when we chartered our first Mobile Business Intelligence market study, we,have seen consistent growth in its importance to organizations (Figure 21). However, in,2013 those stating that Mobile BI is “critical” or “very important” declined from 61% to 57%. We believe that this change is normal, as organizations move from the planning stages to deployment.”
