Top.imageAs data volumes grow, Big Data analysis continues to trend as a market topic and analytics continues to be a top priority for organizations around the globe. By providing students access to analytics solutions, SAP strives to support the growth of new ideas and new ways businesses can turn Big data into big value and tackle the next generation of business challenges – to help life run better.

To further support student’s efforts, SAP’s analytics team and SAP University Alliances are offering students a chance to win a pass to SAPPHIRE NOW Orlando (May 17-19, 2016) and the ultimate student experience during SAPPHIRE NOW through the DataGenius Challenge.

Three panel

DataGenius invites students to uncover the infinite possibilities hidden within data to help change the world. Whether its tackling worldwide epidemics, exploring technological innovations, providing competitive insight into trade or predicting the trends behind the world of sports and entertainment, students are able to tell their data story to make a lasting and positive impact on what really matters.

The contest is an amazing way for students to explore SAP’s analytics tool set on their own or reinforce what they’ve learned in class – while at the same time having the opportunity to win cool prizes and connect with a global community.

“Through the Data Genius IV Contest students have access to many different sample data sets from health, to sports, to technology, business and more. With plenty of tutorials and hands on training available, an undergrad student from any major can quickly see the power of Big Data and technologies to analyze that data and apply it to any issue.”

– Kevin Lee Elder, Associate Professor at Georgia College & State University

The winner will spend three days at SAPPHIRE NOW Orlando* with an exclusive group of university students, professors, and mentors from around the world. Students will experience first-hand what it is like to be a part of the SAP ecosystem and interact with key SAP partners and customers on the show floor as part of the SAP team.
