2: #DataGenius Viz a Thon with Sustainable Amazonia Foundation

Our second not-to-be-missed TechEd 2015 pre-conference event is the Viz a Thon with Sustainable Amazonia Foundation (FAS)Monday, November 9 from 13:00 to 17:00.

Plan to arrive early at the conference and lend your data genius visualization skills to help promote, education, health, and forest conservation in the Amazon.

The Sustainable Amazonia Foundation (FAS) is the leading organization helping people in the region, aiding 40,000 people per year. They are responsible for the Bolsa Floresta (PBF) program, a pioneer for the Amazon region and the first internationally certified project in Brazil of its kind. Its goal is to stop deforestation, promote environmental awareness and improve the quality of life for the community. It provides grants to individuals and families to implement sustainable practices.

Those who join us will help Sustainable Amazonia Foundation analyze their real data sets and challenges to help identify solutions along with our top SAP Lumira experts and fuelled by pizza and beer. Attendees will get a chance to present their visualizations directly to FAS at the end of the evening. Plus everyone participating will receive a limited edition Data Genius t-shirt on the spot (while supplies last)!
