future_predictive_analytics_SAPPHIRENOWNext week, thousands of people in the SAP community will head down to Orlando for SAPPHIRE NOW—SAP’s largest customer event of the year. Among the many activities planned for the event, you’ll find great sessions and lectures on how SAP envisions predictive analytics. This is truly an important moment in our quest to bring “predictive to the masses” by rethinking and reimagining the predictive experience instead of just incrementally improving it.

Bringing You the Predictive Factory

At the core of our new vision is the predictive factory.  Through a powerful browser interface, the predictive factory will enable users to create and manage thousands of automated predictive models with just a few clicks. This will bring a whole new level of productivity to those used to creating predictive models one-by-one. This predictive factory will sport a cool Fiori-based HTML5 interface.

You’ll definitely want to come to our booth #DE402 on the show floor for an up close look at what predictive analytics has in store for you!

A New Predictive Factory Is Just the Beginning

Moving forward, the predictive factory will also serve as the basis for the next steps in our transformational journey.  We’re already working on our next generation, model-creation user experience that will finally bridge the gap between 1) data analysts using our industry-leading automated predictive capabilities and 2) data scientists who want to create even more complex predictive models themselves using an editor.

To top it off, we believe all of this should be possible from within a browser interface, which leverages server resources and frees the user from the constraints of the desktop—it’s predictive analytics reimagined and redesigned.

Join the Journey at SAPPHIRE NOW

Whether you’re an existing user, or you haven’t seen the solution yet, SAPPHIRE NOW is the place to get up close and personal with SAP Predictive Analytics.  We will have experts at the predictive booth on the show floor as well as many predictive-specific education sessions covering roadmaps, product features, and real-world use cases.   There really is no better (or earlier) time to get familiar with the future of predictive analytics.

For more information on must-see sessions, read last week’s Predictive Thursday’s blog,  Predictive Analytics at #SAPPHIRENOW .
